Moving from Storyworth to LifeWell

A year of weekly questions sent to a parent or grandparent, bound into a hardcover book. Choose Storyworth if you want a parent prompted every week by email or phone and a printed hardcover at the end of the year. Choose LifeWell if you want to keep the stories as you hear them, in your own record, free, beside the person who told them.

Last checked 2026-11-07. The full comparison is on LifeWell and Storyworth.

How to move across

  1. Open LifeWell and sign in. Start with yourself.
  2. Add the people you already have in Storyworth, one record at a time (people). LifeWell does not import from other services, so start with those closest to you.
  3. Link them to each other, and the family tree draws itself.
  4. Add the memories that matter, with a photo, a date and a place (memories).
  5. Keep Storyworth for anything LifeWell does not do, such as historical records or DNA.

LifeWell does not keep the audio of a conversation yet: it writes down what you say. It cannot print your tree for a wall, it has no to-do list for today, and it has no iPhone app. It is not medical advice.
