Everyday

The ordinary week. Not the interesting area, and the one most people open most often.

Calendar and appointments​

/calendar is the month, /appointments is the list. An appointment carries a checklist — the questions you meant to ask, the results you meant to collect — which is the part that is usually written on the back of an envelope and lost.

Notes​

/notes holds written notes, in folders. Two things about them are worth knowing:

  • Every note is rich text. There is no plain textarea anywhere in LifeWell.
  • Deleting a folder never deletes its notes. They come out of the folder and stay in your record. That promise is enforced by the database rather than by the screen that asks the question.

/maps/notes plots the ones that have a place attached.

Saved places​

A place you want to remember, with whatever you wanted to remember about it. They appear on /maps and in the export.

Reminders​

/profile/reminders is where you say what LifeWell may send you and when. Medication and appointment reminders are on; the nudge for a day you have not written anything in is off until you ask for it. See Reminders.

The shopping list​

Built from meals and recipes, or written by hand, and shareable as plain text so the person doing the shop does not need an account. See The shopping list.

Why "everyday" and not "memories"​

Notes are filed here rather than under Memories, and the distinction is the one the product uses everywhere: Memories is captions, dates, albums and the link to each file. Everyday is calendar, notes and saved places. A note about a hospital appointment is not a memory, however much it is a record.
