The seven areas
Six apps each knew a piece of you. None of them knew you.
LifeWell holds seven areas, with You in the middle. You is the account — your profile, your plan, your settings — and it is not one of the seven, because it is not something you can switch off.

Why the addresses do not match the areas
/health/mood-journal is in the Mind area. /health/menopause is in Life stages.
/people/share-links is in Sharing. The prefix is wrong about the area, and it stays wrong on purpose.
Those addresses were indexed by search engines under the 2.x app, and a URL that has been indexed is a promise to everyone who linked to it. The rebuild changes code, not addresses. The complete list is Addresses that do not move.
An area is a product idea. A prefix is a historical fact. Never read one as the other.
Switching an area off
/settings?tab=domains carries six switches, in the order above. Sharing is listed there too, as a row with
no switch: what you have let other people read has to stay visible to you. See
Sharing.
Off means quiet, and all three halves of that are real:
- the menu stops listing it;
- anything you recorded is kept — nothing is deleted, now or later;
- any page in it still opens if you go to it directly, with one line at the top saying why it is not in the menu.
There is no Save button on that panel. A switch that needs a Save is lying about what it did, so each flip writes immediately and the switch itself is the acknowledgement. If a write fails, the switch moves back and says so.
Hiding an area is not deleting it
Two different things, deliberately kept apart:

A person who wanted the first and got the second would have no way back. That is why the second one makes you type the words.
What decides which screens appear
Two answers, and nothing else:
- Which areas you have on — the six switches above.
- Who you are — one profile field that decides whether six life-stage screens are listed. See The first run.
A person meeting both finds the same sentence in both places, which is deliberate.
