your own listing if you are one.
LifeWell does not check anyone's qualifications
That sentence is printed on the directory itself, above the fold, and it is the most important thing on this page.
Everything on a listing was typed in by the person in it. The listing prints their registration number in full and links to the public register that issued it, so you can check it yourself in about a minute — that is the part LifeWell can honestly offer. There are no ratings here and nobody is recommended.
What they told us, and what anyone checked
A listing shows three columns: what they told us, what was checked by LifeWell, and how you can check it yourself. The middle column is usually blank, and that is the feature.
A tick reading verified would compress five different claims — qualifications, registration, insurance, identity and availability — into one symbol that stands for none of them. Three columns instead tell you which sentence you are trusting and who you would have to ask to confirm it. There is no verified badge in the directory, and the column an administrator writes cannot be set by the professional.
The one thing LifeWell confirms is that the email address is reachable, because the person clicked a link sent to it. Only the server can write it, and it proves nothing about their qualifications.
An administrator can record a check against a named professional register, and a claim that names no register can only be refused. That is enforced in the database rather than by a reviewer remembering — the function raises rather than writing a check with nothing behind it. A check that could be granted without a register is a check that means nothing.
Every approval and every refusal is written to an audit log, and a refusal carries its reason.
Offering times
A professional can publish slots. Someone booking one opens a consultation, which is a conversation with a different kind on it.
A booked slot cannot be deleted while a consultation points at it, so withdrawing a listing closes its conversations first rather than orphaning them.
Consultations and your plan
Consultations are a paid-tier capability. Free accounts cannot open one, and that refusal is made by the server rather than by a button being hidden. See Plans.
What is in the export
Your own listing, what you told us about yourself, the times you offered, and the register checks against you. Somebody else's listing is somebody else's record.
