The page tour and the walkthrough

There are two ways to learn LifeWell. The page tour shows you the page you are on. The walkthrough shows you the whole app in six screens.

The page tour

Every important page has a signpost button in the top bar, beside the star. Press it and a short tour walks you through that page, one step at a time.

  • It tells you once. The first time you open a page, a short note points at the signpost. After that it never appears again on that page, on any of your devices.
  • It is yours to steer. You can skip the tour, close it at any step, or jump straight to any step.
  • It works on a phone. On a small screen each step opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen.

How LifeWell works

How LifeWell works is six screens with real screenshots of the app, in this order:

  1. The people in your life
  2. Memories, kept with the people in them
  3. Your day, in one place
  4. Say it instead of typing
  5. The things that help your life go well
  6. Yours to keep, or to delete

You reach it from the footer of the menu — the sidebar on a desktop, the More menu on a phone — or at lifewell.aoneahsan.com/how-lifewell-works.

Jobs

Some tasks take longer than a tap: an export, or a recording Speak is reading. Long tasks are listed under Jobs in the footer of the menu, each with its state — Waiting, Working, Ready or Did not finish. You can get on with your day while they run, and you are told when each one is ready.
